Endometriosis comes from the word endometrium, which means tissue lining the inside of the uterus, when these tissues start coming out of the uterus or grow in other places where they should not be, then they are called endometriosis.
Endometrial tissue is the inner layer of the uterus, whose main function is to nourish the fetus and when pregnancy does not occur, this layer breaks down and comes out of the vagina during periods.
Around 10% of women all over the world are suffering from Endometriosis.
Signs and Symptoms of Endometriosis
1) Pain in the Lower Abdomen, Back, Pelvis, Rectum and Vagina
2) Pain During Sexual Intercourse
3) Abnormal, Heavy, Irregular and Painful Menstruation
4) Constipation
5) Nausea and Vomiting
6) Infertility
7) Abdominal Fullness or Bloating
8) Abdominal Cramping
9) Pain When Pooping or Peeing
10) Blood in Stool or Urine
11) Fatigue
12) Depression and Anxiety
